Aged American Wagyu
We offer Aged Wagyu. USDA states that for it to be considered aged the meat must hang for a minimum of 15 days. When we have ours processed, it is hung for a minimum of 17 days, but our preference is 21-28 days. This makes our meat darker in color and intensifies the flavor. All of our meat is all natural with no hormones, steroids, or antibiotics being used!!!!
Wagyu beef has positive health benefits when eaten. It has been likened to olive oil and salmon in terms of the health benefits that it possesses. On average it has about 300% more monounsaturated fat than normal beef, as well as incredibly high levels of omega 3 and 6 content and a type of fatty acid called conjugated linoleic acid(CLA). Wagyu beef has the lowest cholesterol levels of all meats, even lower than fish and chicken, containing oleic acid which is considered the good cholesterol for your heart.
